Company Profile

Cristopia Energy Systems - subsidiary of CIAT group (F-01350 Culoz) is a French Company with its head office and factory located at Vence, on the French Riviera, near Nice.

Cristopia Energy Systems has a branch office (Cristopia Asia / South-East Asia and Pacific) in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

Cristopia Energy Systems develops an unique technology of Thermal Energy Storage Systems which has stemmed from research at the Energy Centre of " Ecole des Mines de Paris ". This technology has been specially created in 1982 for A/C Building and Industrial Refrigeration to shift electric consumption from peak hours to off-peak period and to reduce the electrical supply.

Product concept

Most industrial cooling and air conditioning systems have to be designed for peak load even if it occurs for a short time. Cycling cooling load in industries, air conditioning load peaking in summer for a few days in a year, and for few hours per day are some of the examples of fluctuating loads.
The storage of thermal energy allows to design modulation and shaving of peak load to a good economical advantage (store when surplus and utilise the same during shortfall).
The economical advantage is not only for the users, but also at national levels it means a better utilisation of installed electrical power generation capacity.

Commercial network

Based on a strong International Network (more than 25 countries).
In Asia, Cristopia has sold licence agreement to MITSUBISHI CORPORATION
(Japan), Cristopia Energy Systems India Private Limited (India), and in China to Hangzhou CIAT Refrigeration Equipment Co. Ltd.

Thanks to Cristopia Energy Systems 5 Million of kWh are shifted daily, and more than 350 electrical MW have been saved.

Cristopia Energy Systems supplies equipment for thermal energy storage systems, but is also well known for its level of quality, expertise in design and engineering and constant efforts on Research & Development.
