 This District Cooling System (DCS) is equipped with a CRISTOPIA STL - AC.00 - 400. The STL tank is vertical and has a total capacity of 22 MWh.

 At MINT, the STL combines the ability to discharge cooling energy at a high rate with low operating cost. A 30% saving on the operating cost has been estimated by the designers.  

Improvement of Packaging: Better Customer Services

 Since September 2002, Cristopia deliver its nodules on pallets with the following characteristics:  

• 50 bags (2 m³ of nodules) positioned on a plastic filmed pallet,
• dimensions of pallets: L = 1.3 m; w = 1.1 m; h = 1.9 m
• weight : 1,145 kg (for AC.00 nodules)

 With this new packaging, less manpower is required for nodule handling during transportation (unloading of trucks and containers), for carrying the bags from the truck to the tank and tank filling.

Our calculation demonstrated that this packaging leads to a saving for your client of ~ 9.5 € per m³ installed.
