New Nodule AC-00
Now available on the market !

 

     The STL - C-00 has been successful on the A/C market since 1989. Its thermal characteristics have been fully validated throughout more than 300 references world-wide. This success shows that the design criteria of the C-00 nodule have been well selected. In January 1996,Cristopia decided to optimize the C-00 nodule in order to :        The best material was selected after testing the nodules (accelerated life-test, measurement of the failure pressure, determination of the viscoelastic behaviour, chemical ageing in glycols or in PCM, measurement of internal pressure, use on our experimental test facility, ...).
  • fully adapt the nodule diameter to the A/C market,
  • tend to a STL life time higher than the building life time,
  • reduce its price in short/middle term (12-24 months).
      The use of this new material represents an important evolution of Cristopia 's technology. Indeed, thanks to its second phase, this material has a very high resistance to stress. When the nodule shell is stressed a local whitening of the material reinforces the shell. The result is an outstanding life time combined with a remarkable chemical resistance.
     This optimization based on Cristopia 's know-how relies on the recent advances in polymers. Indeed, in the last ten years, tremendous advances have been achieved in the polymer industry. The most significant advance concerns the development of blends, sometimes formed in-situ during the polymerization process. The polymer blends present very interesting properties and can be specially designed for individual applications.      Thanks to this important innovation Cristopia will continue its development.
     Thus, the use of a new material has allowed us to increase the nodule diameter (up to 98 mm) and to reach the nodule life time target whilst keeping the thermal characteristics constant.

Expansion = 5 % for pressurized tank
